Dr. Jeanetta D. Sims began writing poetry at age 13 in Chandler, Oklahoma. Inspired by a love of Maya Angelou, she holds a deep belief that words, chosen carefully, can voice what a heart is challenged to hold.
Forty years and a Hall-of-Fame career later, she brings her inaugural book of poetry and prose to women of faith who know what it is to grieve quietly, lead courageously, and wonder if God still sees them in the in-between.
